Light bulbs

All light bulbs can be brought to the nearest recycling centre, maximum amount 2 m3.
Light bulbs are transferred to Efnamóttakan hf. at Gufunes www.efnamottakan.is, where they are categorized. Light bulbs that contain mercury need special handling where the mercury is separated from the glass and other materials and destroyed specially.
The rest goes to the landfill site.
