How to sort
All gardening waste other than branches and grass such as weed, flowers and grass sod.
Note
Rocks and soil have to be sorted out of the garden waste.
Where to bring it
Smaller loads - max 2 m3: The nearest recycling centre*.
Bigger loads (from businesses/industry): Bring grass and branches to Receiving Plant at Gufunes.
*The recycling centre at Miðhraun, Garðabær, is unable to receive loads of branches for the time being. Please turn to the recycling centre at Dalvegur, Kópavogur or Sævarhöfði, Reykjavík.
